Each lesson consists of the following:
- a live presentation of the skills, including examples of how I have used the skills in business and government
- a text lesson
- a participant interactive skills building exercise via audio conference call as scheduled by course or arranged on your own or with course participants found on the Forum page
- a video presentation of the skills, including examples of how I have used the skills in business and government, and a demonstraion of the application of the skills by our skills demonstration team
- access to instructor via email, Facebook, Twitter
After the course participants complete the 4 basic skills building lessons, they will apply the skills in role play to resolve example conflicts involving Family, Business, Religious, and Political issues. Each skills application role play exercise consists of the following:
- fact scenario
- skills application script
- interactive role play via audio conference as scheduled by course or arranged on your own or with course participants found on the Forum page
- access to instructor via email, Facebook, Twitter
Hours of Study
- Read Conflict to Partnership E-Book – 4.5 hours
- 4 thirty minute basic skills text lessons - 2.0 hours
- 3 twenty minute and 1 thirty minute basic skills live presentations – 1.5 hours
- 3 forty minute and 1 ninety minutes interactive skills building exercises – 3.5 hours
- 4 thirty minute basic skills reinforcement videos of 30 minutes each - 2.0 hours
- 3 thirty minute and 1 one hour “Each one teach one” homework assignments – 2.5 hours
- 4 two hour skills application role play sessions – 8 hours
- 4 one hour skills application role play debrief conference calls – 4 hours
- 3 hours for 3 page paper required for Academic credit students
- Total 28 hours for Continuing Professional Education Credit Courses and Non Academic Credit Course
- Total 31 hours of credit for the Academic Credit Course
- Total 22.5 hours for Self Paced student course. Self Paced students do not participate in the live presentations and the team interactive exercises. Self Paced students are invited to find practice partners by posting messages on the Conflict to Partnership Forum page and do the interactive exercises on their own.

Please watch the Lesson One Video, read the Lesson One Text Lesson, and review the Interactive Skills Building Exercise Questionnaire prior to the interactive skills building conference call on Monday, February 20, 2012. This is the process we will follow throughout the 8 week course.
Please read the Conflict to Parnership Ebook, read the Lesson One Text Lesson, review the Lesson One Interactive Skills Building Exercise Questionairre, participate in the live skills building presentation and the live skills building interactive exercise and then watch the Lesson One skills reinforcement video that includes a skills application demonstration.
At the Week Four Conference Call we will assign the teams for the first Skills Application Role Play Exercise. Each team will arrange its own Role Play Call prior to the Class Skills Application Debrief Conference Call.
If you will not be able to make the scheduled course conference call, locate a practice partner by posting your name and email address on the Forum.
Self Paced Course students will not be involved in the scheduled course conference calls, and can locate practice partners on the Conflict to Partnership Forum.
